It was incredibly easy to transfer the value from the multibrand card to the brand I wanted (I chose Allegro). I hope more companies start offering these universal gifts because, sometimes, brand-specific rewards can be impractical. I would definitely be pleased to receive Giftmate gift cards again in the future.
