Meine Lieblings-Kollaborationstool

Kommentare: Als Scrum Master und Agile Coach arbeite ich täglich mit Miro. Gemeinsames Brainstorming, Ideenfindung und Lösungssuche funktionieren genauso wie Backlog Estimation und PI Planning.Für Remote Workshops und Meetings braucht man ein gemeinsames Whiteboard, auf dem man seine Ideen aufschreiben, sammeln und diskutieren kann. Miro bietet hier einfach nutzbare Grundfunktionen (Sticky Notes, Texte, Schreiben) und viele tolle Erweiterungen (Jira-Anbindung, Stoppuhr, Abstimmung, Frames, Präsentationen, ...).Ich nutze Miro für persönliche Brainstormings, für Team-Workshops bis hin zu PI Plannings mit mehreren hundert Personen. Alles ist einfach und intuitiv nutzbar.

Vorteile:

Die intuitive Nutzbarkeit, die Übersichtlichkeit und die einfache Navigation macht es selbst Neueinsteigern leicht, sich zurechtzufinden.Die vielen Funktionen und Erweiterungen (z.B. Voting, Planning Poker, Stoppuhr, Präsentationsmodus) und Anbindungsmöglichkeiten (z.B. Jira) machen es mir als Workshopmoderator sehr einfach und helfen mir, meinen Kunden eine ideale remote Workshop-Erfahrung zu bieten.

Nachteile:

Hin und wieder gibt es einige Bugs, bei mehreren hundert bis tausend Elementen wird die Ladezeit sehr hoch.

Unverzichtbar für Remote Teams

Vorteile:

Sehr intuitives Tool für Workshops, Planungssessions und mehr! Stetig kommen weitere Tolle Funktionen wie z.B. neulich die Abstimmungsfunktion hinzu die auf elegante Art und Weise eingeführt und vorgestellt werden.

Nachteile:

Für junge Startups wären zusätzliche Discount Programme wünschenswert.

Tool für Teamwork

Vorteile:

Mit Miro kann ich während eines Arbeitskreises die Ergebnisse sammeln und in geeignete Form bringen, sogar präsentieren. Mindmaps, Tabellen und co nutze ich dabei sehr gerne.

Nachteile:

Bisher noch nichts wirklich negatives aufgefallen

Super Ideenmanagement tool mit tollem Live-Sync.

Vorteile:

Live-Sync funktioniert fast Sekunden genau. Es gibt viele Integrationen und es ist allgemein sehr benutzerfreundlich und einfach zu bedienen.

Nachteile:

Es gibt Funktionen die in anderen Tools deutlich besser gemacht sind. Es ist eher ein All-Rounder tool, wenn man etwas benötigt, was richtig gut für eine bestimmte Aufgabe wie z.B. Projektmanagement ist, sollte man eine spezifischeres Tool verwenden.

Vorteile:

Die simpel gestaltene Oberfläche, einfache Bedienung und instllation

Nachteile:

Fehlende Diagramme, Stifte und Formen, Vergleich hierzu ist Draw IO

Super Whiteboard Tool zum Brainstormen und zur Prozess Modellierung

Vorteile:

Miro glänzt durch den guten live sync und die vielen Tools zur Darstellung von Prozessen.

Nachteile:

Ich würde mir wünschen dass ich weitere Schriftarten in Miro benutzen kann, damit die visualisierungen der eigenen Brand-language entsprechen.

Vorteile:

Fördert die Zusammenarbeit insbesondere in sehr großen Teams.

Nachteile:

Für komplett freue Gestaltung führt schnell zu Unübersichtlichkeit

Miro Features

Kommentare: Ich nutze es sehr of im Studium, lässt sich gut mit anderen Tools zu integrieren.

Vorteile:

Man kann sie intuitiv schnell benutzen. Passt gut um mit vielen Teilnehmern zusammen zu arbeiten. Wunderbar geeignet als ein Brainstorming-Tool.

Nachteile:

Wenn man mit vielen Menschen zusammen arbeitet, ist es manchmal sehr schwer die richtige Arbeitsgruppe zu finden. Eine Aufteilung wäre sinnvoller, wie eine Art Breakdown-Rooms.

One of the best collaboration tools I've used

Kommentare: My overall experience with Miro is very positive. Miro made me a more productive person and the collaboration tools helped me get the work done along my team.The brainstorming and mind maps are very helpful gathering ideas and refine them.

Vorteile:

What I like the most about Miro is its capabilities and potentialities regarding teamwork.It has loads of options and collaboration tools and it can make pretty much everything, from an idea into a prototype into a concrete project.

Nachteile:

Since Miro has a lot of options and personalization, it can be confusing and not very user-friendly for beginners. With some time and practice, this issue can be quickly solved and overriden.

Miro is a fantastic tool for team collaboration

Kommentare: Because of Miro, our team is now able to work together much more efficiently. It allows us to easily record our thoughts graphically and relay them to the other participants in the conference call. No longer is it necessary for us to explain obscure ideas.

Vorteile:

Miro's user-friendliness and collaborative nature make learning about it a pleasure. Its whiteboard features are intuitive, allowing multiple team members to make changes or generate new spreadsheets at the same time with minimal effort.

Nachteile:

The lack of a simple polling option is something I find lacking in Miro. A polling mechanism connected with charts and graphs would make updating charts and adding integer values to tables more efficient.

Growth, VC funding & re-branding cause my love affair with Miro (Realtimeboard) to end

Kommentare: I had an initial love affair with Realtimeboard and had a subscription since 2016/17. Growth and then VC funding last year together with the re-branding debacle are forcing me to re-think that love. It's been unrequited for the last while. :-( NPS scores

Vorteile:

Easy to use, excellent real-time capabilities

Nachteile:

Poor customer support & dishonesty. The change to Miro saw them stiff paid Premium users of Realtimeboard and not honour the remainder of their subscriptions Slow pace of feature development No offline capabilities

Miro is the Master of Teamwork and Collaboration

Kommentare: We've started using Miro as a tool for brainstorming and sharing our thoughts. It's been a great way to generate ideas and make rough drafts of our projects. This method is effective because it allows us to briefly describe the benefits and drawbacks of each idea.

Vorteile:

Online teamwork is fantastic. To let others contribute to the whiteboard, just send them an email invitation. Including people from outside the team in the project's development is beneficial. Miro is a portable and functional whiteboard app. We can now put things into some kind of order that makes sense.

Nachteile:

Because of Miro's per-user licensing structure, everyone who wants to work together on a project must chip in. The issue is that you cannot invite individuals for the sole purpose of reading without purchasing a license for each individual user.

It is a very simple and robust application for all kinds of projects

Kommentare: The capacity to consolidate thoughts and efforts from many file types is a significant benefit. And unlike its rivals, it allows you to talk to your team members without switching platforms. As a result, teamwork is improved and workflows experience less friction.

Vorteile:

It's one of the best tools you may have for any kind of job or play because it's versatile, creative, and simple to use. It's great because it's easy to import content from other formats and platforms, you can work with an endless canvas, and your team can interact and collaborate in real time.

Nachteile:

When I'm working on a project in my area, I rely heavily on journey maps and group brainstorming sessions. It's not simple for me to import data from other programs like Figma or Invision.

Use Miro if you work on teams and save a lot of update calls!

Kommentare: I love this tool to go through a design thinking process with my clients and we can work on the project at the same time and irritate it even if we are not in the same room.

Vorteile:

I really love the fact that you can save your board with a password so not everybody is able to access the board if they are not supposed to. I also love that is really easy to handle and intuitiv. It helps all the team members to work on one project and it doesnt matter where you are.

Nachteile:

I actually dont like the zoom in miro. This is actually better in figma or similar tools. I sometime get to close or I select everything by accident. I hope miro can fix that in the future.

one of the best tools for consulting business

Vorteile:

Organizing ideas. I use this product with Wacom Pentablet. At fisrt, I note anything I want using the pentablet like hand-writing after that I makes some chart, issue trees, and whatever by using the modules and export to images, then attach Notion or other documents. Before I use the method it was so tough tomake documents but not this makes less rework.

Nachteile:

Directory. I mean there are bunch of boards created, but lack of full functionality to keep things organized.

Excellent tool for a digital agency to shine

Kommentare: Great experience, we moved from files and local versions of each item to a fully online collaborative approach, saving time and cost

Vorteile:

It is very easy to work within a team to design customer experiences, websites, apps, do online workshops/meetings etc. Clients love how visual it is and easy to use is and the internal team loves how easy it is to collaborate.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it takes a bit longer to load that we'd like - but often it happens because of the amount of assests in a given project

Miro - Nice visualization and collaboration tool

Kommentare: We use Miro in my team to dynamically participate, brainstorm and work on ideas in a fluid and interctive way. Integrations with other plugins and tools also enhance the experience, allowing us to centralize our activities on one platform. And when it comes to ideating, drag and drop functionality and schematic elements remove any technical limitations, giving you the freedom to think creatively.

Vorteile:

I have been using Miro and it has been quite an intuitive and versatile tool for my team, whether small or large. The platform is easy to navigate, and the free templates really help us get started with brainstorming sessions, meetings, and discussions. Since we introduced Miro into our workflow everyone has found it easy to use, what sets Miro apart for me is the real time collabortion feature.

Nachteile:

I really don't have any point at the moment.

Kommentare: I am overall very happy with the product and have been using it as a personal whiteboard for the last 2-3 years.

Vorteile:

I am using Miro mostly as a canvas for ideas and thoughts, both while ideating and also later on while working on end products. It is simple to use, and with the "endless canvas," you can continue your own sessions forever. It is also very easy to use to define systems diagrams and general block diagrams which I do very often.

Nachteile:

I feel some small but important features are still missing, probably on purpose. These include 1) the ability to choose your own fonts (and not from a predefined list); 2) the ability to define a default font for a board, and; 3) the ability to export panels and objects as PowerPoint objects to integrate in external slides.

Kommentare: From brainstorming to final delivery, Miro has been a great resource for me. The user-friendly design makes this program a breeze to operate. Also, Miro includes a ready-to-use template. Try out as many templates as you can find that are appropriate for your project. It was a breeze to work from home using this app. Integrates well with Jira's templates.

Vorteile:

It's extremely visually appealing! I mostly utilize it to communicate work processes to newly hired employees. It's a terrific approach to show off our tracks and systems without having to go into great depth about how and why they work. Finally, I'll be able to provide an excellent summary that our team may go to for future reference.

Nachteile:

It's more difficult to keep track of and prevent people from making modifications in the incorrect places while working with large teams. It's a little clumsy, and there are a few things that might need more explanation, but once you get the idea of it, it's not too tough.

Quick collaboration with real update-as-you-type across the board, perfect for collecting thoughts

Kommentare: We've been using Miro for months now for team retrospectives, collecting notes on past releases, gathering ideas for improvements etc. So far, we haven't had any experiences where we were left with feeling that something was lacking. The whole team is very satisfied with this product.

Vorteile:

It's great when your team is out of reach and you need to gather some ideas. It works even better than the physical presence of people, because it forces them to put it in a note - you can organize notes, transform them etc. Also, you can even see where everybody's mouse cursor is, which, even though isn't required, gives you a nice feeling of collaboration (imagine 10 cursors flying around, doing stuff... it just feels powerful and stimulating). Of course, you can turn it off if you'd like to. The collaboration board is 'near-infinite', offers many types of objects (stickies being most popular, but also tasks, lanes, images etc). There's meeting agenda, todo list, and other stuff you might need from an online meeting tool. Paid version also gives you an option to use active elements, like voting, countdown timer etc. Very cool.

Nachteile:

The history of changes isn't that easy to track - who did what and when, who's put this element? when? what was added by John? etc. What this tool doesn't offer is an actual meeting (call/video) - for that, you'd have to use other means to connect.

An app I've been looking for, modern diagramming done extremely well

Kommentare: I'm a designer by profession and am used to design tools, and this feels like one, but one that is very easy to grasp and seems to know what it is that you want to do. Definitely the diagramming app that I've been looking for the past 2 decades. Thank you Miro team for making this, the other apps before were just so clunky.

Vorteile:

It's very intuitive. It responds in a very fluid and responds in ways that it seems to know what you're trying to do. I've used other diagramming tools for the best part of this century, like Visio, Lucid, Omni, and all of them were just so clunky and restrictive, they have very strict ways of working and are very 'enterprise' orientated, like made for The Office, and so I would use vector apps like Sketch, of Flash (before) in order to make diagrams. But then, I stumbled upon Miro, and it was like dafaq? This is the app I've been looking for, and it worked in ways that

Nachteile:

Honestly, nothing. A few small things, but they that have been ever so slightly irksome that I fail to recall.

Excellent multipurpose software with functional features

Kommentare: An array of tools and templates for specialized purposes make it simple to get started, and it's simple to find what you're looking for when you do. A fantastic user experience on every device, regardless of operating system, is ensured by being platform agnostic. It has allowed us to hold more successful seminars without depending on countless physical post-it notes, and to cooperate effectively while having a remote team and customer base.

Vorteile:

Any product designer, UX designer, UI designer, or member of a remote design team should have a copy of Miro on hand. It's a great tool for design thinking, brainstorming, and whiteboarding. Their great templates will also assist any novice get started and hold fruitful meetings.

Nachteile:

For freelancers on a tight budget, Miro might be prohibitively expensive. For established agencies, though, this is ideal. Even though a voting tool was recently added to the product, a wider range of interactive elements would help us better engage audiences and create better workshop experiences.

Our tool of choice for visual collaboration - a must have in education and training

Kommentare: Miro is awesome. We have been using it to demonstrate different concepts in online workshops to co-workers and also to share knowledge with our K-12 students. The level of interaction and engagement is the cornerstone of a product that enables you and your team to work cohesively and share ideas in a visual manner.

Vorteile:

Here we are in love with Miro: It is easy to use, has a wide arrange of tools to convey ideas and has plenty of templates for specific purposes. Being platform agnostic warrants a great experience across devices and operating systems. The tools to collaborate make it an indispensable app for teachers and trainers. We are quite pleased with the fact that the Support team (Miro Academy) is always organizing training events to cover the basics and also advanced tools. The Miroverse community is also very helpful and we all get to share templates and tools with the rest of the users.

Nachteile:

Not a con, but something that may annoy some people is that the text tool is a bit limited. From the selection of typefaces to the inability to format specific parts of the text, the tool feels lacking. Another factor to consider (not a con, per see) is that Miro is better used when you have an idea of what is it that you want from it and you organize your content accordingly. The fact that this has an infinite canvas lends to chaos if you do not plan ahead.

Flexible digital whiteboard

Kommentare: My team and I has produce numerous idea and and planning our project process with the help of Miro. Miro also is a good additional software whenever we have an online meeting and let everyone draw to the whiteboard and sharing ideas to improve the meeting process visually.

Vorteile:

Miro is providing a vast range of template for the whiteboard that can compliment my whiteboard objective. Planning, brain storming session and discussion with my colleague has really improved as we can chatting with each other when using the whiteboard. Everyone on the board will be assign with their representative color so we can distinguished which member editing and altering the board.

Nachteile:

There are limit of the whiteboard size that we can use to drawn or adding shapes to the board. If we exceeding the board size, i need to create a new board and can't combine the board. There are also no password that can be assign to the whiteboard to protect it from get edited or deleted by anonymous user.

Now I Can't Live Without It

Kommentare: The flexibility of this product is astounding. I can use it for almost every element of my daily workflow as a self-employed business consultant. I use boards to keep track of what tasks are on my plate today as well as which ones are on deck. It's cut my time putting new presentations together by half, since I can brainstorm what I want to include and organize it quickly which cuts down on the time I actually spend putting slides together. Plus, it makes workshops a snap since I can illustrate changes in real time or even invite attendees to collaborate live. I use it for marketing too - brainstorming our marketing story and persona and moving seamlessly into wireframes. I originally used it with one of my clients, but am now a subscriber myself who recommends it to everyone I know.

Vorteile:

My favorite thing about Miro is it's flexibility. I have a hard time thinking of a business problem I want to work on where Miro isn't helpful - which is great a solo business owner. From task tracking, the brainstorming content creation, marketing, and monitoring strategic improvement (with approaches like traction) Miro is up for just about any challenge.

Nachteile:

I'd love to see the ability to do more customized branding, to integrate our favorite fonts and use a wider palate of colors.
