Accounting For The Small Business

Vorteile:

Easy to use, intuitive and with great reporting tools that allow me to keep on top of my business performance. Invoicing to clients, profit and loss reports, VAT returns, keep up to date on cash flow and knowing how my business is performing every day

Nachteile:

I want to be able to compare this YTD performance with LYTD performance and that isn't possible to do

Fabulous and efficient.

Kommentare: I have used Sage for three companies previously and chose tonuse it for my own company.

Vorteile:

Its very to use and very thorough, it also has helpful cues if you get stuck.

Nachteile:

Not everything makesnit through to the bank reconciliation page.

Accounts with sage

Kommentare: Have had no problems with this set up but I personally feel it could be a bit more developed

Vorteile:

Liked could connect to clients device so no need to go on-site could work from home

Nachteile:

I do think it could be a bit more clearer and shorter to use

Sage Gliches

Kommentare: Sage has a few glitches. It pulls through transactions twice from my account. Transactions that have been already reconciled suddenly re-appear. It has also put a transaction both in the income and outgoings. I find creating rules particularly difficult. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t

Vorteile:

I find navigating the site quite easy. Invoicing is easy.

Nachteile:

I find it hard to find help in the help centre. If you don’t put in the phrase it likes it can be quite difficult to find the answer to your question

Sage Ireland small professional business review

Kommentare: Positive, although one is slowed down slightly online waiting for pages to load.

Vorteile:

The product is has a country version specific to Ireland. The payroll and accounting are linked.

Nachteile:

Editing after payments is not allowed and when reconciling, if a payment for the next month is reconciled, you can’t roll back to the end of the last month to do a reconciliation to follow your printed monthly bank statements, and the bank column shows transactions but no balance column.

MY Sage and ME

Kommentare: Great as they are only a phone call away.

Vorteile:

Sage helps my business and I don't need to worry about downloading updates

Nachteile:

Some features I asked for have not been added

Good online solution especially for Sage desktop software users.

Kommentare: The overall experience with Sage Accounting has been good, ability to work on the data by a number of people at the same time and the increased security of data has been a great improvement over a desktop software

Vorteile:

I like that this software is an online solution.

Nachteile:

It is quite complicated to use, not as straightforward as their competition.

Sage online - Good and needs improvement

Kommentare: It's decent. Not as good as Xero & Quickbooks yet, but a vast improvement from when the online software was initially launched.

Vorteile:

The online nature of the sftware makes it easily accessible to multiple members of staff from multiple locations. Also, being able to see live data is a big help

Nachteile:

The software is not particularly friendly for accountants to use. The lack of an option to input opening balances does require several work arounds

Intuitive and easy to use even for an amateur

Vorteile:

Intuitive even for someone who is not a bookkeeper, connects to bank accounts to make reconciliation easier

Nachteile:

Takes a lot of resources and slows my computer down

Happy With it

Vorteile:

great integrations and does everything you need.

Nachteile:

small and complicated to use for beginner.

ITA A GOOD PACKAGE

Vorteile:

ONLINE MEANS I CAN USE ANY COMPUTER UNLIKE SAGE 50 WHICH WAS COMPUTER DEPENT

Nachteile:

NOTHING ITS A GOOD PACKAGE I CANT FAULT IT

Technical but Practical

Kommentare: I use it everyday, and as my experience increases I am learning about more of what we can do in it.

Vorteile:

Fairly Easy to use. The Software obviously has a lot of capability.

Nachteile:

Multiple invoice payment...not sure if it can grab a selected range to pay instead of typing them in one by one.

Sage Accounting for every day

Kommentare: I use sage for my own practice, for my husband's business and I have 34 clients where I am the invited Accountant. This system is well designed to make accounting easier.

Vorteile:

It is easy to set up and use. Because it is an online system it can be accessed anywhere anytime.

Nachteile:

They do have some issues with slow or degradation but have been working on this. Also billing department is not easy to contact so have had issues there

Good software whit good functionality

Kommentare: Overall, great product. This has alot of functionality, including tracking expense, accounts receivable, inventory, etc.

Vorteile:

The tracking mechanisims and integration into banking.

Nachteile:

The financial reports such as balance sheets and P&L can be developed or customized to be more user friendly.

Sage Accounting

Kommentare: Overall experience of Sage Accounting is positive. It is a reliable and comprehensive tool for different business scale.

Vorteile:

The interface is very user friendly and straightforward. New user is easy to pick up the use of software. It also provide comprehensive features like invoicing, payroll and inventory management.

Nachteile:

Even the tool is user friendly, some features could be complex for users without accounting backgrounds.

Sage review

Kommentare: Good so far, easy to set up if the time is put aside

Vorteile:

I like the simplicity to use but professionalism of the output & easier than a spreadsheet

Nachteile:

Sage, for me, is missing automatic chasing of overdue invoicing like you can do with other software for the same purpose. Unfortunately, it’s this element that is missing which is making me consider one of the other software available until safe catches up and introduces this feature. I also think it’s missing an easy way to put a part payment against an invoice unless I just haven’t figured it out yet

Peachtree to Sage...A long history!

Kommentare: In the end, we sold the business and Sage was discontinued.

Vorteile:

Sage was Peachtree Accounting software at the beginning. No internet available. Many startup accounting packages becoming available and we picked Peachtree on belief that it was a good starting company and would succeed. We used Peachtree and later Sage for some 20+ years.

Nachteile:

Sage was a drop in service from Peachtree. Afterwards, it was always decreasing in support. Hard to discuss any topic or correct software problems. Lack of service and support.They were all about charging you for any conversation... insensitive till it got to the point of their interfering created more problems on their mission to boost revenue. We used the same package every year for stability!

A wise decision for my business

Vorteile:

The website is user friendly. One of its best features is its integration systems. I can easily connect Sage Accounting with other software such as Quickbooks. It also connects with Stripe. This feature allowed my business to qualify for funding because it showed an overall history of my payouts and business stability.

Nachteile:

Some of the more advanced features are included only in the more expensive plan which might not be affordable for every small business.

Do not use SAGE if you value your business

Kommentare: Terrible!!! Will not recommend this software to anybody.

Vorteile:

Standard software for accounting purposes.

Nachteile:

You do not get what you pay for as they are constantly offline. Their site is constantly inaccessible leaving you stranded with your customers stuck at the counter. Pathetic excuse for accounting software. Support team are useless.

Good and easy software.

Vorteile:

Very easy to setup and use it. Nice and intuitive UX. A lot of good and useful features "ready at your fingertips"

Nachteile:

Sometimes the loading speed is very very slow.

LOVE sage accounting

Kommentare: I really like the software. It is user friendly and easy to pick up. More of our clients are using this software and we are using this software more and more and each time its a breeze to use.

Vorteile:

The reports and how easy they are to edit and personalise. We use the software for some audit clients and its very accessible and adaptable. It is good to always have a live, up to date version of our clients records, the online version of Sage tends to be better as you can login from anywhere.

Nachteile:

I prefer the view on Sage 50 desktop of customers and sales and suppliers and purchases. I think it is easier to drill down into transactions, errors, and issues on the desktop version.

Market Leadrer Is Still The Best
