ServiceTitan ist eine führende Softwarelösung, die die Art und Weise verändert, wie HLK-Fachkräfte im privaten und im gewerblichen Bereich ihre Geschäfte abwickeln.
The interface is very user friendly, properly labeled, and easy on the eyes. There isn't a lot of unnecessary buttons or icons that can confuse, which would make learning it that much harder.
It has been a while since we used this software so I don't know if this has changed, but at the time this was very frustrating.

The all in 1 Software for the trades
Kommentare: Overall ServiceTitan is the best. I am a huge advocate for the ServiceTitan software. I only want to see it grow even more than it already has. They are constantly improving the software!
Vorteile:
I love the all in one software that ServiceTitan is. It combines so many features into one convenient location. I have always felt this way since the beginning.
Nachteile:
ServiceTitan is a wonderful software. And I don't have anything to say that could be a con at this time. Maybe that I wish more people were using the community feature!

Kommentare: We've been using for over 5 years and it is so much easier than our old, manual system.
Vorteile:
No more lost paperwork. Can see customer's history.

Reps change too often. Would like to stick with one longer so they are familiar with our business.

Ok, not the Best
Kommentare: I am not sure why payments that are deleted are still taken twice from a customer acct. This has caused issues for us, otherwise, it's pretty good. Also wish there was an actual phone number to call for help.
Vorteile:
For the most part it is easy to operate. Easy to learn and also teach if needed.
Nachteile:
There are some things that could be done differently

From paper to Tablets!
Kommentare: Just over 3 years ago we were hand writing all of our invoices and estimates and keeping track of a schedule on a basic calendar program. I was calling customers the day before confirming their appointments. I had all our maintenance memberships in an excel spreadsheet which I would maintain and email everyone each season. Payroll was a nightmare and manually entering credit cards each transaction or daily runs to the bank with deposits. It worked and we thought we were doing great. Now...we save hours and look more professional with digital invoices and estimates...streamlined payment options...technician time clock and commission tracking. Our revenue has increased with much better reporting and marketing and recording keeping. We save so much time and our customers appreciate the more professional looking options.
Vorteile:
It is a one stop shop for our business needs from reports and accounting to payroll to invoicing to inventory and purchasing with Marketing and GPS tracking. It has a user-friendly platform and awesome customer service. It makes us look professional with a lot less time than before!
Nachteile:
At first it was a bit over whelming to get set up, but my onboarding rep was patient and compassionate and kept me motivated. It is a bit expensive, but once I realized everything we were getting for the cost, I realized it was worth it

Still Growing
Kommentare: Service Titan has been at times overwhelming but we've put the resources towards it necessary to improve and grow our business.
Vorteile:
The customer experience aspect to inform customers where they are at within the process. It helps mitigate the biggest complaint customers have with contractors which is lack of communication.
Nachteile:
I'd like more built out in the way of budgeting and progress report dashboards. Help us gamify our gross profit and operating profit goals through each department.
Service Titian overview
Kommentare: we onboarded during covid, so I feel like, and everyone was on vacation in December. I felt like a stronger start would have been helpful.
Vorteile:
reporting, time saved in the field, time saved in the office, we have great support, and we love the software. and all the new features .

having to have 3rd party company for support

Great for orgnaization

Great product, Service Titan's service is good and helpful, also customer's love getting notifications when our technicians are on route...
Overall, our technicians like it and our office staff.
Vorteile:
There are many different things I Like about Service Titan some of the most important is Calendar Organization, the Content portal and being able to keep a good working customer history back-up which is easy to look-up when in need.
Nachteile:
One of the minor things i don't like but not necessary a deal breaker is that there is no drag and drop in calendar view, but its still pretty easy to change your schedule when required.

Only marketing prowess can get software this bad this far
Kommentare: I was sold on many things by the time we signed up for service titan, but issue after issue, it didn't matter - how responsive their customer service was, the "quantity of features", the percent of increased sales - it just doesn't work well. They also didn't follow through with their obligation to help with a number items outlined in the contract. After my customer support manager went dark, and her manager went dark, I initiated a stop payment; only then I was contacted - by the billing department. When I explained the situation and asked for help, they said they would reach out. I didn't hear back until their collections team followed up which obviously went nowhere. I find it incredibly hard to beleive that Service Titan is considered a successful company. Even for the clients that this is working for - I can only expect they stay with ST out of convenience of due to the contract. There are so many better options out there, in every way (no exaggeration). As if to add insult to injury, this must also be the most expensive option on the market as well.
Vorteile:
The many, many people involved with onboarding were friendly; kind of what I expect the initial joining of a cult would be like.
Nachteile:
The 5-week onboarding & training before go-live should have been an indicator that this software is highly unintuitive. They sold it as built by-and-for tradesmen, but I strongly disagree. In a world of clever software intuitiveness, service titan is far from in keeping with modern standards of UX/UI and even stable functionality.

Has everything we need plus some. All in one stop where you do not need to shop around for your options.
Nachteile:
Growing extremely fast- we cannot keep up with all it has to offer. Is that a bad thing?

An investment, but it really does what they say they will
Kommentare: Overall our experience has been a good one, don't get me wrong we've had to make some noise to get some bugs fixed and at times train there own people in support on how to do their job but compared to the other many, many hvac software companies out there, no one compares in my opinion.

all of the capabilities to run an hvac business
Nachteile:
the cost, and the additional cost for "pro" products, upon sign up we were told that Everything was included and then they started coming out with the pro products that are an additional fee, and these fee's are not cheap.

Best Decision
Vorteile:
I love all the capabilities, support and recourses that Service Titan offers. I also really appreciate the fact that they listen to us, the customer, and implement our ideas and enhancements. The customer communications and online payments is something we lacked in our old software that has made our lives (and our customers lives) so much easier!
Nachteile:
I can't think of any real cons, if something isn't working right its usually user error or a bug that they fix quickly.

ServiceTitan Review
Kommentare: 8 of 10 overall. The product itself is phenomenal but is dragged down by the lack of customer support. They will issue you a CSM but he/she changes almost monthly.
Vorteile:
Data and reports delivered quickly and efficiently.
Nachteile:
Customer service. They do not have enough people to teach you to effectively use the product.

Service Titan Review
Vorteile:
The ability to customize many fields. Also love Knowledge Base and community which helps see what others in my industry are doing
Nachteile:
The customer support is a bit lacking. We keep switching CSMs which isnt' conducive but other than that it's ok.

Service Titan is the best of both worlds!
Kommentare: So far Service Titan is what helps us run our business the most. Without it, we could still run, but it would be a ton more difficult to do so, considering it keeps us from having to use multiple services in its place.
Vorteile:
Service Titan makes it so you can have a ton of different functions tossed into one app, which is extremely useful, and handy when it comes to doing multiple things in a day. Its dispatching feature and customer feature is by far my personal favorite, as we are able to easily save a customers info into the software, and look back on their profile at any point for past jobs, invoices, estimates, equipment, etc. and just as easily dispatch out a technician to the job to work.
Nachteile:
Service Titan, as great as it is, is a beast, which makes it extremely difficult to get setup properly the right way at first. We have had to redo so many things due to unproper setup first or second time round, and even still to this day, our Service Titan isn't perfect or anywhere near it, but we are getting closer.

Kommentare: Overall its good, definitely really great aspects of the service and then items that need attention.
Vorteile:
We like the visibility you get with ST, you can easily locate your technician whether he is driving or working at a customers home.
Nachteile:
The Support really needs help, I can tell you of maybe 3 times support was able to resolve and issue. All the other times it had to be sent to a more senior support staff to resolve. I am currently still waiting on a resolution from a case opened 1/30/24!

Overly expensive
Vorteile:
The dispatch grid was pretty nice. Setting appointments from the call screen was easy enough.
Nachteile:
Just about everything else. The fact that service location setup was difficult. Didn't transfer well to Quickbooks. The payment processing feature - customers didn't like that and it took too long for deposits to be received into the receiving account. There was always changes being made to the field app that caused alot of heartburn for our technicians. The many modules were great for options, but it was hard to utilize all of them for a company of our size.

Automating The Service Industry
Kommentare: Our over all experience is a 4/5. The product is good, but we feel like once you got our money there wasn't much more help, we had to learn on our own.
Vorteile:
We love how ServiceTitan assists with automating our insulation, heating and cooling company. Helps us streamline so many jobs and not miss out on potential revenue.
Nachteile:
The training and implementation was lacking. We also do not like getting tossed from CST to CST. We want one person not a line of them.

Great software overall
Vorteile:
The built-in training from the knowledge base and academy are super helpful in onboarding new employees. The release notifications that highlight new features. The Blue Collar Nerd and his helpful videos. The community to promote ideas and to see them get implemented. The online communities on Facebook to connect with other people who share your job responsibilities. And of course, Pantheon :)
Nachteile:
Ideas take a long time to turn into new features. The system will randomly crash and there's a delay in communication for when the functionality will be restored. The certified admin course is a bit like reading the dictionary to take a spelling test. Some features aren't where you think they'll be and there are "hidden" settings that can make large impacts.

I like that ST works on improving processes on a consistent basis. They cover all necessities and they take their users suggestions for improvements

I want more ability to create complex reporting options. Also, there are many configurations that can make our lives easier that we don't find out about until we reach out for an issue that it can solve.
