Ironically, the most challenging part of the setup was connecting the payment gateway, since Stripe’s process is quite confusing. However, that’s more of a Stripe issue than SimplyBook.me’s. We actually use SimplyBook.me for organizing a two-day event, not for running a business, and it still provides everything we need. It’s flexible, intuitive, and works perfectly for our purposes. Overall, SimplyBook.me has fully met my expectations, and the price-to-performance ratio is excellent. There were a number of glitches/freezes throughout the process, and if you refreshed, you lost any progress you made, preventing teams from securing a time. For a process that already comes with high demand and pressure, these technical issues make it unnecessarily frustrating. I personally experienced the system freezing on the confirmation screen multiple times, which meant I lost the time I was trying to book and had to start over, and did not end up with my first option.
