Homer works with NASA databases to obtain data (climate, solar radiation, wind velocities, etc.) from regions across the world, critical in any energy project. Homer optimizer displays the best results with the various energy generation methods the user provides. Of course, it is better when the user inputs reasonable, affordable, and available generation methods according to their case. Homer´s primary criteria for energy projects rely con costs, so efficient cheaper systems are offered first. Data is easily exported so you can further analyze in software like MATLAB to analyze energy generation and consumption (so you can further optimize the proposal).
