Fluch und Segen mit Shopify System

Kommentare: Wir hatten einige Probleme mit Übertragungen der Bestelldaten zu unserem ERP System, Unbezahlte Bestellungen wurden als "bezahlt" übertragen, was intern enorme Probleme mit sich gebracht hat.

Vorteile:

Schneller Aufbau des Webshop-Systems und die Preise der Pakete

Nachteile:

Manche Pakete sind zu teuer und der Support oft nicht in der Lage das Problem zu lösen!

Bestes Shop System

Kommentare: Bestes Shop System am Markt meiner Meinung nach.

Vorteile:

So ziemlich alles. Shopify vereint simple Integrationen mit einem gelungenen Frontend und Bearbeitungsmöglichkeiten. Ich würde es als das Apple der Shops bezeichnen, nicht ganz billig, hier und da schwierig ins geschlossene Ökosystem vorzudringen aber hell yeaa all in all das Beste seit langem!

Nachteile:

Die eigenen Apps sind teils murks, da gibt es durchdachtere Lösungen im App Store.

Shopify Plus ist für deutsche Unternehmen eine Katastrophe

Kommentare: Teuer, kein ernsthafter Support auch nicht wenn man die Plus Version hat.

Vorteile:

Das es viel Geld verschlingt und keinen Service gibt

Nachteile:

In 4 Wochen haben die es geschafft 4 mal den Shop mit ihren unangekündigten Updates lahm zu legen. Wir waren 3 Wochen offline.

Einfache Handhabung

Kommentare: Ein gutes System das man sich selbst, dank Baukasten, nach seinen Bedürfnissen zusammen stellen kann.

Vorteile:

Auch ohne Vorkenntnis ist es möglich sich selbst einen gut funktionierenden Onlineshop zu bauen.

Nachteile:

Je nach Bedarf kommt doch noch einiges an Kosten obendrauf durch die benötigten extra Apps/funktionen

Buggy, schlechtes Support

Vorteile:

Standard-Shops sind leicht einzurichten. Man muss sich um Hosting und andere Aspekte nicht kümmern.

Nachteile:

Die gleiche Kreditkarte geht bei einem Shop, geht aber nicht beim anderen. Kämpfe seit Wochen mit dem Support. Der Chat Support ist unterirdisch schlecht. Man muss mehrmals das Gleiche erklären, und trotzdem wird man nicht verstanden. Man muss lange auf Antworten warten und wenn man selbst nicht schnell genug antwortet, wird man komplett rausgeworfen, ohne der Möglichkeit die Konversation aufzunehmen. Es ist traurig was aus Shopify geworden ist.

Shopify Top All in One Tool aber nicht günstig

Kommentare: Shopify ist ein Anfängerfreundliche Software mit der man innerhalb von ein paar Stunden einen professionellen Shops aufstellen kann.

Vorteile:

Man muss kein Experte sein um Shopify nutzen zu können, Shopify gibt einem einen super einfache Toolbox zur verfügung in der schon viel vor eingestellt ist, einfache shop aufsetzung mit kaufabwicklung und durch den Appstore mit vielen zusätzlichen Apps für jeden ist was dabei.

Nachteile:

besonders für den deutschen Markt fehlen mir viele rechtliche dinge, z.b. muss man eigenständig die Häkchen für AGBs und Datenschutz Zustimmungen einsetzen lassen und es ist auch kein richtiges Rechnungssystem hinterlegt somit muss man wieder tief in die Tasche greifen um das mit apps auszugleichen. auch die Transaktionsgebühren für jede einzelne Bestellung kann sich summieren am ende des Monats kann durch die Gebühren ein großer Teil des Gewinns schrumpfen

Nachteile:

Begrenzte Möglichkeiten in Bearbeitung von SEO-URL-Pfaden und Checkout, was einerseits Nachteil, andererseits als Vorteil ansehen kann.

Das Tool für eCommerce

Kommentare: Shopify hat sich für mein Unternehmen und mich im Allgemeinen als sehr gut erwiesen. Vor allem, den Transport aller Artikel zu den Kunden ohne größere Probleme zu überwachen, was die Möglichkeit bietet, einen außergewöhnlichen Kundendienst zu leisten, was für bestimmte Unternehmen, die diese Mittel und ihre Geschäfte nicht abwickeln können, extrem schwer zu überwachen ist.

Vorteile:

Shopify ist SEO-optimiert, einfach einzurichten und zuverlässig für die Erstellung von Shops. Es hilft, die Website des Geschäfts zu erstellen, auf der sich Ihre Kunden mit der angebotenen Produktpalette beschäftigen können.

Nachteile:

Einige Funktionen sind begrenzt und funktionieren nur mit Shop Pay, was sie nicht ohne Grund vorantreiben, aber eine allgemeine Integration mit anderen Zahlungsarten, die auch die lokale Lieferung oder das Dokumentenmanagement einschließt, wäre schön.

Shopify Features

Kommentare: Insgesamt positiv, bin zufrieden mit den Funktionen und Analytics- und Reporting Tools.
Dashboard ist auch übersichtlich und gut strukturiert.

Vorteile:

Eine relativ intuitive Nutzung ist möglich, allerdings sind auch die Erklärungsvideos zu einigen Funktionen notwendig. App Integration für Shipping, etc sehr bequem.

Nachteile:

Versand-Zonen sind etwas kompliziert zu verwalten, die Einstellungen sind nicht so flexibel wie gewünscht. Wünsche mir mehr Einleitungsvideos für alle Rubriken.

Vorteile:

Shopify ermöglicht auch unerfahrenen Nutzern, die Software einzurichten und zu benutzen.

Nachteile:

Mir kommt es so vor, als wäre die Software etwas aufgebläht.

Great Platform For Beginners in Ecommerce

Kommentare: Overall it was good, they make great websites whether they are blogs or stores and a better selection of vendors than many of the other dropping shipping platforms.

Vorteile:

I like that shopify had a wide selection of merchants to choose from when you were setting up your store, they had everything from simple merch, regular clothing and even an adult products(if thats what you want to set up!). Also, a lot of vendors work with them so they always have different promotions going on to get your store up and going. And if you want to pause it you can keep your whole store with out losing anything for a much lower cost.

Nachteile:

What I didn't like is when it comes to getting your products into categories it's not as simple as going under the title of the page and checkmarking the products that you want for that page. Also, while they do have a lot vendors so many people use shopify that many times a lot of the products are sold out and thats a problem if you are going to be a vendor on a large platform with millions of users such as Shopify you have to keep up with the demand. And you can never just call everything has to be done through email and chat. And when shopify accounts were comprised such as mine was I would have rather spoke with someone about the situation than continue to have online interaction on the account that was compromised.

Overall great experience thus far with shopify.

Kommentare: All in all I must say I have had a positive experience using shopify to build my online business. They provide excellent analytics tools to help you keep up with every detail of everything that happens on your site. From customer traffic and sales figures, to guides on what to do next to increase sales and conversions going forward, they have your back.

Vorteile:

The site is really easy to navigate and understand. In one afternoon I was able to get a complete ecommerce site/store set up and stocked with products for print on demand that I personally designed myself. There are options and customizations available for every aspect of the site from the color of the header background to the profit margin percentages I wanted for each item to additional admin apps that are customizable as well!

Nachteile:

All those options can be overwhelming to someone who is new to working or selling online. While there are live chat agents available and help tabs and menus everywhere on the site it still can take some time to get familiar with everything and the functions. I wouldn't mind seeing some simplification of some of the terminology used on the site.

DO NOT trust this evil company

Kommentare: After spending 8 months building and refining my store on Shopify, with absolutely no warning and no consultation with myself they took down my store and locked me out of my account permanently. They stated that my store was too 'high risk' for Shopify to support. We are a fully incorporated and licensed online retailer for garage equipment... would hardly say that is high risk. Over the 8 months we were building the store my experience with Shopify's systems and their customer service was absolutely horrible. I have never encountered a business with so little care for their customers. AVOID SHOPIFY AT ALL COSTS. would give 0 stars if I could.

Vorteile:

Absolutely nothing good to say about this company. Their user experience is terrible and their customer service is absolutely atrocious

Nachteile:

Shopify has no interest in supporting small business. All they want to do is take your money and they do not care at all what happens to your business. I have never encountered another business with so little care for there clients. They are crooks and bullies. their user experience is FULL of bugs, you will constantly be reaching out to customer service. Their customer service is AWFUL its only an online chat (there's no way to talk to them on the phone) with a bunch of agents who have no idea what they are talking about, I was constantly receiving contradictory answers from different agents. The only reason they have customers is because of their massive marketing budget pushing lies onto the public. If people knew how this business operated no one would be using it. I can honestly say I have never had a worse experience with any business in any sector than I have had with Shopify. 8 months of hard work and money down the drain after they deleted my store and locked me out with no warning, no explanation and no consultation. To quote part of their brief and rude email; "for security and privacy reasons we are unable to divulge the results of our reviews and investigations" which makes no sense considering everything in the investigation would just be my details and info.

A Solid E-Commerce Platform with a Few Costly Extras

Nachteile:

Kommentare: Great overall experience, no need for a web developer, its easy to create a website, and use an existing theme available, can set up tracking and add the built in Cookie banner etc. Easy to add products and check orders also

Its easy to navigate around this CMS and its got all the features you would need when creating a website, lots of theme options and setting up tracking and adding products is very easy.

Nachteile:

No real issues. There are some things that are apps that could have been internal features.

Kommentare: Great! From a financial standpoint, we were able to easily connect it to our financial reporting system using a third party connector. The team is responsive.

Vorteile:

Reports are easily customized and export to CSV. Dashboards show all the information I need at a glance. Payouts are clearly organized.

Nachteile:

Some persisting small issues that don't seem to get resolved.

Kommentare: Using as a beginner is very helpful, however for someone that is more experienced, having something that you can fully customize with ease is more efficient.

This service was extremely easy to use. The accessibility to made expanding customer base much less difficult.

Would definitely use again

Kommentare: I started overhauling our website and working on our new online store in January 2024. It went live to the public in September 2024. So, it took us nine months to get everything in order the way we wanted to have it. Honestly I think that is a fair amount of time. I am coming from having some web experience but I had never done a project like this before. If I was to do it again, it could be done in half the time. It just seemed like every day there was something new to learn. Would 100% use Shopify for future projects, and would recommend them to others, especially beginners who want a beautiful finished product and an easy to learn system.

Vorteile:

After much deliberation of which online platform to use for our online store, we settled on Shopify for its user-friendliness. I am not an expert, yet I was able to set up a successful, beautiful online store with nearly 1,000 products. While I enjoy Shopify's chat support, we also tag teamed with a Shopify Expert to do some coding for us. Their chat support could help with most non-code related issues though, which was very appreciated.

Nachteile:

One thing we have found difficult about Shopify is the amount of apps you need to install in order to have your site running with all the features you would want. We bought a pretty extensive theme, but are still using apps for features such as a wishlist, a quick reorder option in the "account" page for return patients, adding expiration dates to products, etc. They are not all expensive but together, they add up. Another downside for us is we sell vitamins and supplements which are on Shopify Payments restricted list, so we needed to find a third party processor. With this processor, Shopify charges us additional percentage, on top of what we pay the third party processor, simply because we are not using their payments system. The additional cost has been something we have to weigh out and consider, but it has been worth it to be able to bring our business of 20+ years to the online market.

Kommentare: Although you may not have the total control and flexibility you could achieve with a self hosted solution the overall improvements in not having to manage your servers and speed of integration makes it definitely worthy.

Vorteile:

As a developer / part-time system administrator Shopify's cloud solution is the best possible solution for an ecommerce. Blazing fast solid infrastructure

Nachteile:

Coming from WooCommerce Shopify is not the most open environment due to its cloud structure. Heavy customization is achievable through Apps, Functions or Plus features. Plus pricing is hefty.

My Checkout never lets me down unlike others.

Kommentare: Great my customers trust shopify and the peace of mind the checkout gives me is priceless.

Vorteile:

In my ecommerce ownership of 7 years I find shopify has the best customer service and secure checkout that I have used. I can maintain it myself build new themes try them out first and add and remove apps easily.

Nachteile:

The traffic to my site has been hard to build since I left woo commerce. Someof the themes to add are expensive

Simple and Easy to Use

Kommentare: I have used Shopify since 2019 and it is better than Woocommerce built on Word Press for me because I don't have to code a lot

Vorteile:

It is easy to set up and use. It makes starting an ecommerce store possible for someone like me that doesn't having website development and coding skills. It has a payment processor, good basic themes and integrates well with social media, shipping software and other softwares.

Nachteile:

I don't like that you need a lot of apps to add things like multiple images to each variation. That should be built in like it is on eBay and Amazon's platforms.

A powerful and user-friendly solution with a price tag to match

Kommentare: Apart from the price, it was everything I expected and more.

Vorteile:

The level of control, ease of setting up an online store with inventory tracking, online payments, parcel shipping integration and intuitive management panel.

Nachteile:

It is pricy, especially for a small starting store with virtually no sales yet. The option to "park" the website for a period of time when things are slow is helpful, however, it is a considerable expense for a starting business.
